El 9:30 Club es uno de los recintos más icónicos de Estados Unidos para ir a ver shows en vivo. Y la National Public Radio (NPR) suele transmitir los conciertos que allí están ocurriendo. Y ahora, para celebrar los 40 años del 9:30 club, la NPR decidió publicar más de 100 conciertos que ahí han ocurrido.

Entre los conciertos se encuentran presentaciones de Arctic Monkeys, Sonic Youth, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Public Image Ltd., The Black Keys, Animal Collective, Bon Iver, y más. Además, cada show fue publicado con el texto original de la transmisión, dándole un valor nostálgico.
Por ejemplo, el show de Arctic Monkeys viene con un extracto de Alex Turner: "Lo que ha pasado ha sido propiamente histérico. Si digo 'fenómeno' suena a que me relamo a mí mismo, pero sería bobo actuar como si no nos hubiésemos dado cuenta de lo increíble que ha sido el último año. ¿Cuándo nos empezó a pasar de preguntarnos '¿qué estamos haciendo acá?'?".
