Todos están hablando de este día, pero acá en Chile nadie tiene muy claro de qué se trata. Como en Rock&Pop queremos que estés al tanto de todo lo que sucede, te contamos que el Record Store Day es una celebración internacional a la música.
Lo propuso Chris Brown, un trabajador de una tienda de discos, no el pololo de Rihanna, el año 2008. Desde ahí, tiendas de discos en todo el mundo, artistas, fans y trabajadores de la industria se han unido para celebrar este día de la música, centrado en ir a la tienda de discos que más te gusta y comprar o compartir artistas, que lanzan versiones especiales o formatos únicos de discos y singles.
Este año, la fecha está fijada: es el 20 de abril y Jack White fue nombrado embajador. Para que te hagas una idea, el año pasado hubo más de 400 lanzamientos de canciones y discos en formato de vinilo y CD. Para este año, la cosa se viene aún mejor.
